There is still time for people to take part in Fareham Borough Council's options for the New Community North of Fareham consultation. The consultation is open until Tuesday 31 July and Fareham Borough Council would like as many people as possible to comment on the options.
Councillor Keith Evans, Executive Member for Strategic Planning and Environment, said: "This is an opportunity for people to have their say about what the new community will be like. People can comment on options including the size of the development, the transport infrastructure, and the locations of facilities such as the district centre and secondary school."
You can view all the options and comment on them at www.fareham.gov.uk/consultation. Paper copies will be available from the Civic Offices or can be requested by phoning 01329 236100.
The results of the options consultation will help Fareham Borough Council to develop a first draft of the Area Action Plan (also called a ‘Preferred Options Draft’). This will be published for a full consultation this coming winter.
