Resurfacing works to improve the Portchester Precinct Car Park will begin on Tuesday 28th August.
The work to be done is estimated to take up to three weeks to complete and will be carried out in 3 phases in order to minimise disruption and keep as many parking spaces available as possible whilst the improvement work is being done.
We would ask members of the public for their co-operation at this time by not parking in the closed off sections. This will allow the work to be carried out as quickly as possible and avoid the need to remove vehicles.
Executive Member for Public Protection, Councillor Trevor Cartwright said: “Fareham Borough Council is working in partnership with contractors Colas to minimise any disruption and ensure the work is completed as soon as possible.”
Businesses in Portchester Precinct will be open as usual and deliveries will operate as normal.
If any members of the public have any concerns during the resurfacing works they can contact the contractors, Colas, on 023 9231 0900.
We apologise for any inconvenience and disruption the work may cause.
