The Fareham and Gosport Summer Passport Scheme was a huge success with over 1400 young people attending the events.
For three weeks in August, Fareham Community Safety Partnership and Gosport Community Safety Partnership provided fun summer activities for young people across the area. Young people had a go at scuba diving, laser quest, jumping on a giant bouncy castle, testing their fitness on a 75ft assault course, Zorbing, arts and crafts and lots more. A total of 1450 11-17 year olds from Fareham and Gosport attended the events over the three weeks.
Chairman of the Fareham Community Safety Partnership, Councillor Arthur Mandry said: "I'm very pleased with how well the events turned out and it was great to see so many young people enjoying themselves. I would like to thank everyone who was involved for making the Summer Passport Scheme a huge success."
