Due to the high level of interest in the possible future options for the regeneration of the Locks Heath District Centre and the desire of Fareham Borough Council to ensure that everyone has a chance to have their say, the consultation period has been extended to 26 November. There will also be two extra public exhibitions where people can talk to Council Officers about the possible options:
•Thursday 8 November: Lockswood Community Centre 10:30am-2:00pm
•Friday 9 November: Lockswood Community Centre 4:00pm-7:30pm
Councillor Keith Evans, Executive Member for Strategic Planning and Environment, said: "We would like as many people as possible to take part in this consultation and help us pick the right regeneration options. This is why we have extended the consultation period and added two extra public exhibitions."
Residents and local businesses will be able to look at and comment on the options at www.fareham.gov.uk/consultation.
You can also view a hard copy of the plan at the Civic Offices. If you have any queries about the plan or would like a hard copy of the response form please call 01329 236100 and ask for Planning (Strategy) or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadline for consultation responses will be Monday 26 November. The results of the consultation will go before the Council's Executive in January.
