07:30 - Monday 19 March
All general waste and recycling vehicles have gone out this morning. It is planned that bins from properties on main roads will be collected first, then estate and side roads later to allow the snow time to thaw.
If any roads are not accessible for the Council’s vehicles, revised collection details will be posted on this website later today.
The next Portchester Community Action Team (CAT) meeting will take place on Wednesday 12 June at Portchester Community Centre from 7.00pm-8.30pm.
Residents will have the chance to hear an update from the local police, as well as a presentation by Councillor Seán Woodward.
Chairman of the Portchester CAT team, Councillor Nick Walker said: "At this meeting the Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Seán Woodward, will be giving a presentation looking at what's gone on in the Borough throughout the past year. This will be followed by a short video focusing on events such as the opening of Portchester Community Centre, Olympic Torch Relay, Diamond Jubilee Celebrations and the Wallington floods."
Residents will also have the chance to hear an update from the local police and will have the opportunity to ask questions and speak to their local Councillors.
