Fareham Borough Council has published summaries of the responses which were made on the Draft Welborne Plan as part of the recent public consultation which took place during April, May and June.
Over 200 hundred people and interested organisations submitted responses on the Draft Plan during the six-week consultation period, whilst almost 500 people attended the consultation exhibitions.
The feedback summaries of the responses can be read at www.fareham.gov.uk.
Fareham Borough Council's Executive Member for Strategic Planning and Environment, Councillor Keith Evans said "It is important the development of the Welborne Plan is properly informed by public opinion and the valuable feedback captured by this consultation will help inform the next stage of the plan."
The Council are currently working on reviewing the Draft Plan based on the responses to the consultation alongside other on-going research. Consultation on the next version of the Welborne Plan will take place later in the year.
