07:30 - Monday 19 March
All general waste and recycling vehicles have gone out this morning. It is planned that bins from properties on main roads will be collected first, then estate and side roads later to allow the snow time to thaw.
If any roads are not accessible for the Council’s vehicles, revised collection details will be posted on this website later today.
Next week the Play Rangers will be leading a range of fun and free outdoor activities, including a Teddy Bear's picnic at Holly Hill Woodland Park on Wednesday to celebrate National Play Day.
Organised by Fareham Borough Council in Partnership with Y- Services for Young People, Play Rangers offer children from 5-12 years old with a variety of play opportunities and outdoor activities that they may not have experienced before.
Sessions for next week (Monday 5th – Friday 10th August) feature a range of adventurous activities across the following locations:

The sessions are free and no booking is necessary. Children can just turn up and join in. Whilst expert supervision is on hand through Y-Services, children under 8 years old must be accompanied by their parent/adult carer and parents of all age groups remain responsible for their children at all times.
Executive member for Leisure and Community, Councillor Connie Hockley, said: "Play Rangers is an excellent way for children to experience new and rewarding play experiences, we are particularly excited about Wednesdays session when the Play Rangers will be hosting a huge Teddy Bears Picnic as part of National Play Day Celebrations".
