Fareham Borough Council have set aside £20,000 for groups and projects which will help make the community a better place. Community groups can apply for funding up to £2,000. Simply fill in the application form below and tell us about your project and how you would use the money.

Applications will then be shortlisted and successful projects will go to a public vote online and at various locations around Fareham.

The deadline for applications is midnight Friday 31 October 2014.

Please note that groups such as Community Action Fareham may be able to help you with your application form, or finding further funds to support and continue with your project.

What happens next?

Once you have submitted your application, we will consider the merits of each application.  Those felt to be viable and beneficial will progress to the Community Vote.

n Monday 3 November we will consider the merits of each application.  Those felt to be viable and beneficial will be shortlisted and asked to take part in a short film or presentation about their project.

Films or presentations will be hosted on Fareham Borough Council’s social media sites. The public will then be encouraged to vote online and via voting boxes situated in Asda, Newgate Lane and the reception at Fareham Borough Council Civic Offices. Voting will be open from Friday 14 until midnight on 28 November 201

Grants will be issued and successful candidates notified during the beginning of December.

Retrospective awards cannot be made. Please do not purchase services or materials until the outcome of your application is decided.
