Options for developing Locks Heath District Centre

Location of a new food store

6. There are two possible options for a new food store.  Which option do you prefer?

Option 3 shows a raised food store with parking underneath. This would use less land but have a bigger visual impact.

7. Do you think a raised food store with parking underneath is a good idea?

Location of a new leisure centre including swimming pool

8. There are three possible locations for building a combined leisure centre with swimming pool, library and community facilities. Which do you prefer?

Size of redevelopment

If any changes to the Locks Heath District Centre are limited to the land currently used by the shops and car park, then no open space will be lost. However,  a new leisure centre, including a swimming pool, and a new food store would need more land than currently used by the shops and car park.

9. Taking this into account, which of the following would you prefer?
10. If the larger scale redevelopment goes ahead, there will be some loss of open space. Where would you like to see this replaced?
