Motors and Melodies

Saturday 12 September 2026

West Street, Fareham Town Centre, 10am-4pm

Previously known as Bygone Fareham, this event will see West Street lined with an array of classic cars for you to look at and speak to the owners, plus there will be singing and dancing under the bandstand throughout the day!

Classic Cars

Local groups that usually attend are South Hants Vehicle Preservation Society, Morris Minors Owners Club, Original Minis Group 59-00 and Solent Mini Club, plus many independent car owners. 

If you are interested in displaying your classic vehicle please contact us. Vehicles must be over 25 years old to be eligible to be on display. 

Singing and dancing 


Get ready for a day filled with fantastic live entertainment as Motors & Melodies brings together an exciting line-up of talented musicians and performers. There will also be pop-up dances from Jive'n'Boogie throughout the day!

10am - Maxwell Walters - Vintage Vocals

11am - Jim Hammond Duo 

12noon - The Flatcap Crooner

1pm - Ali Shepherd

2pm - The Wildcat Wailers

3pm - The Silhouette Show

Vintage Pop-up Market

Explore the vintage pop up market located by the Bandstand hosted by Funyard Events, where you'll find unique treasures, retro inspired goods and cakes.

Travelling to Fareham

Please be aware that there are roadworks at Quay Street Roundabout. These works may cause delays so please allow extra travel time if this effects your route.

By Bus

Fareham Bus Station is situated by Market Quay car park.

From Gosport: Use First Bus service E1, E2, X5, 9 or 9A

From Portsmouth: Use First Bus service 3 or X4

From Whiteley: Use First Bus service 28 or 28A

From Southampton: Use First Bus service X4 or X5

By Train

Fareham train station is a 10 minute walk to the event location

By Bike

Fareham Town Centre is surrounded by the National Cycle Network. Bike racks are available in the pedestrianised area, by Fareham Library and by Fareham Bus Station

By Car
