Press Release

25 May 2018

Get your free pizza at our Y-CAT meeting!

Young people are being invited to come along to the Y-CAT (Youth Community Action Team) meeting being held at Odyssey Youth Centre on Friday 15 June at 7pm.

This meeting gives young people the opportunity to have their say on local issues, and ask the Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Seán Woodward, any questions they may have on topics such as; the town centre, parks, youth clubs or volunteering.

Police officers will also be present to share information about what actions are being taken to keep the Borough safe and answer any questions that arise.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Cllr Sue Bell, said: "It's so important that young people are given the opportunity to have their say about their local area and raise any concerns they may have. We think this meeting is a great way for them to communicate with the leader of Fareham Borough Council in an easy and informal way."

All those attending the meeting will get free pizza at the end!

Anyone aged 11-19 years old can attend and are welcome to just turn up on the night.
