The additional equipment will be placed on an area of grass which is currently empty. Work on the play area is expected to begin in 2019.

A consultation will run from Tuesday 29 May to Tuesday 26 June for people to cast their vote at www.fareham.gov.uk/consultations or visit the Council's Facebook and Twitter pages.

The upgrade is part of Fareham Borough Council's five-year Play Area Improvement Programme.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Cllr Sue Bell, said: "We would like residents to help us choose the new equipment to make sure we provide suitable facilities for everyone to enjoy for years to come."
