There will be an out-of-hours telephone message advising customers of the Christmas closure and of the special enquiry service in operation during the festive period. If there is an emergency and you need to contact the Council over Christmas, please call 01329 236100.
Refuse, Recycling and Street Cleansing during the Christmas period
Over the Christmas period there will be some changes to refuse and recycling collections in Fareham. Full details can be found on our website at www.fareham.gov.uk/xmascollections. Alternatively, an answer phone will be in operation for non-urgent enquiries relating to refuse and recycling, grounds maintenance or street cleansing. Please call 01329 824842 and leave your name, telephone number and as much detail as you can.
Garden waste collections are suspended from Friday 15 December 2017 and will resume from Monday 16 January 2017 on your usual recycling day.
We will collect your real Christmas tree for recycling. Put it out on your recycling day from Monday 15 January. Please do not chop it up. One tree per property, maximum trunk diameter, 10cm.
