Fareham Borough Council has received an outline planning application from Miller Homes to develop land to the east of Down End Road in Portchester.
The outline planning application is for up to 350 dwellings. It includes new vehicular access with footways and cycleways, green space, local amenity areas, drainage and utilities.
Chairman of the Planning Committee, Cllr Nick Walker said: 'The Council will have to consider a number of planning issues before any decision is made on this. I would encourage anyone with an interest in this planning application to look at the details on the Council's website.'
Interested parties can comment on the application until 2nd February 2018.
