Press Release

Last chance to sign up for Access All Areas

Young people are being urged not to miss out on the chance to try exciting activities such as inflatable pool parties and go-karting for free this summer.

With the summer holidays fast approaching, Fareham Borough Council is offering 11-16 year olds the opportunity to 'Access All Areas.'

The Council scheme features a variety of activities throughout the summer holidays including bungee trampolines, zorb racing, laser quest, Olympic weightlifting and driving sessions for 15 and 16 year olds.

This summer differs from previous years as young people will not be able to sign up on the day for events, so it's important to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Parents/guardians must register their child online in advance and places are booked on a first come, first served basis. An additional parental consent form will need to be completed for some events and returned to the event organiser to participate.

Once registered, a pass will be sent in the post. This will allow access to each event, and act as a free bus pass on First busses – getting you from event to event.

Chairman of Fareham's Community Safety Partnership, Cllr Trevor Cartwright, said: "Access All Areas is a very popular scheme which offers young people the chance to try out a wide range of free activities and give them a memorable summer holiday.

"We hope as many young people as possible take the Council up on its offer of great activities in a fun and safe environment."
