Press Release

20 August 2018

Venue vision in the limelight

The Council is asking for feedback on its vision to transform Ferneham Hall into a new arts and entertainment facility.

The remodelled venue will feature two auditoria, community rooms and a dance studio. Operating as a busy community arts and entertainment centre it will have daytime and evening activity, seven days a week.

Static exhibitions are on display in Ferneham Hall and Fareham Shopping Centre (by Debenhams) until October. A series of pop up events will also take place across the Borough, where residents will have the chance to find out more about the vision, ask questions and comment on our plans:

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Cllr Sue Bell, said: 'We are already speaking to regular hirers of Ferneham Hall and are getting positive feedback. Now we want to hear the views of the wider entertainment industry and our residents to make sure the new venue will we meet their needs.'

For more information about the vision and to comment online visit www.fareham.gov.uk/fhvision.
