Event highlights
The Play Day event offers a range of woodland themed activities for all the family. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust , Bird Aware Solent
, Hampshire Healthy Families
, Hampshire Healthy Steps
and Let's Talk Fareham Roadshow will also be in attendance. Due to the event taking place within a woodland, the ground can be uneven in places so sensible shoes and outdoor clothing are advised.
Activities for children
Families are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy a day in the woods, with activities such as den building, woodland crafts and more! This year children can make a jellyfish, hedgehog collage, bird feeder and a leaf puppet.
Prizes
Complete the activity stamp card and hand it back to the Everyone Active stand for a chance to win one of 4 prizes:
- a 3-month family membership
- a birthday party
- 5 activity vouchers
- 5 family swim vouchers
