Help with shopping for essentials, picking up medication etc

Dog walking - One Community Volunteers

A small team of volunteers to walk dogs. Owners must not have display any symtoms of Coronavirus.

Help with pets - Cinnamon Trust

The National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets. The Charity helps provide a fostering service for pets whilst their owners are temporarily unable to look after them.

Home Maintenance - Senior Citizens Service

A property maintenance service for home owners and tenants over the age of 65.

The service will try to cover home emergencies during this time.

Getting active at home and mental health

Mental Heath

In life threatening emergencies always call 999.

The Government website provides advice on mental wellbeing and where to get help.

For urgent mental health support, a new mental health rapid response service has been launched, with calls triaged through the 111 or 999 service. Enhanced web-based mental health support is now available on the online 111 service, via External Hyperlink

People already using community mental health services should continue to contact their care team as usual. They may receive routine care over the phone or via video-link rather than face-to-face.

Solent Mind (023 8017 9049), which opens from 10am-2pm Monday to Friday, continues to provide remote support for both new and existing service users. Their website External Hyperlink contains a Coronavirus resource hub.
