Explained Hampshire Alert, which is a means of registering your interest in what is going on in your area from the perspective of the Police. i.e. will advise if any burglaries have taken place in your area, pictures of bikes stolen so that others can look out for them etc.
Neighbourhood Watch can help to spread the information to those who do not have access to a computer.

Scam advised by resident - couple knocking on doors trying to sell pictures/sketches of cats as originals, and they are photo copies. Police grateful for info and will look into this. For any queries or matters to report, please ring 101. Although Park Gate Police Station has no front desk, and so cannot receive personal callers, if you call 101, a Police Officer will probably visit you to discuss you matter. Cllr Woodward asked residents to report this to the enforcement team when it is happening, so that an officer can be sent there.
Are there likely to be changes to Locks Heath Centre and Genesis centre Yes. Coop to Waitrose one change already. Lockswood Centre may require more shopping provision by developers, and a new community facility could be provided. There will be consultation with local residents about this.
When will new community centre be built if this takes place? Probably in next 3 years, but new community centre would be built before old one closed with required facilities.
Hunts Pond Road - speeding from A27 into Hunts Pond Road. Build outs in road cause problems, as people speed past them to beat the car coming in the opposite direction. Cllr Woodward agreed to look into this, and possibly look at right of way signage at the build out areas. Cllr Pankhurst to look into this matter with residents.
Rumour that there will be an Aldi or a Lidl at Locks Heath Centre. Shopping centre owners are looking to offer more retail in the shopping centre site area, and they may be looking at one of these stores coming into the area.
Whats happening with the Maritime Centre in Warsash? Cllr Woodward meeting vice chancellor of university next week. One option is to close the site. Another option is to reduce what is done at the site to that requiring a waterfront. The third option is to leave it as it is. Residents are concerned that if the university move out, it will be developed into housing. Cllr Woodward confirmed that this could be the case, as it is a brownfield site (previously developed) but should know more next week. Some of the buildings are listed.
Now you own Daedalus, what's happening to the hovercraft? The old ones will go. On the Gosport part of the site (waterfront), it is possible that a hovercraft museum may be provided.
Is Sainsbury's coming to Park Gate? There is to be a convenience store Sainsbury's at Park Gate.
You say you are providing affordable homes but the Govt are talking about right to buy extending to Housing Associations. Won't people just buy them? Cllr Woodward advised that Govt are committed to reinvesting money raised to build more affordable homes. Fareham has a very high proportion of owner occupied homes, and very little available to rent if they cannot afford to buy, which is why more affordable housing is needed.
Coldeast Mansion - what is happening there? Cllr Woodward advised that it is being completely refurbished. Should be finished in the Autumn. The building will provide apartments to rent, and a wedding venue. It is also anticipated that the gardens will be refurbished too.
Will the new leisure centre have football pitches, and will they be astro turf? Will there be lighting for the pitches? There will be football pitches of real grass. No lighting known of yet.

Will there be sufficient car parking for Holly Hill Leisure Centre? Yes, around 200 free spaces.
