Summer 2019

The Issues and Options consultation for future development took place from 10 June to 26 July 2019

A number of Community Action Team (CAT) meetings took place at the time alongside Exhibitions in Fareham Borough. The reason for the consultation was to ask for residents' views on where in the borough the 520 new houses which the Government had updated as the housing target for Fareham could be placed. The earlier Local Plan does not provide enough space for this and that is why a number of issues and options needed to be considered.

Further information about this consultation can be found here

In the Western Wards the CAT meeting took place at Brookfield Community School on Tuesday 16 July 2019 from 7-8.30pm.
