Fareham Borough Council is asking people to comment by Friday 14 February on proposed changes to how we allocate social housing in the Borough.
Fareham Borough Council is proposing a number of changes to the way we allocate housing in the Borough. These changes are:
Executive Member for Health and Housing, Councillor Brian Bayford said "These proposed changes are designed to help us make sure the right people are put on the Council's Housing Waiting List. This consultation is an opportunity for people to help make sure we have got the new policy for allocating housing right."
Once the new policy is approved, the Council will begin to re-register existing Housing Waiting List applicants. The new policy should be up and running by the summer.
