11:00 - Sunday 18 March
The snow around the town centre paths and car parks in Fareham is currently being cleared and salted, but limited resources mean that other areas around the Borough will not be.
Priority areas such as sheltered housing schemes will be cleared tomorrow morning if the snow remains overnight.
All town centre Car parks are open.
'The Magic of Hollywood - Pasha Kovalev' show scheduled for 19:30 today at Ferneham Hall will still go ahead.
Any further information throughout the day will be posted on this website.
Y Services for Young People, in partnership with Fareham Borough Council, will be providing Play Ranger sessions again this half term, with two days of free activities for under 12 year olds. The Play Rangers give children the opportunity to join in group games, take part in activities and try their hand at crafty things, in a selection of our parks and green spaces across the Borough.
No booking is required; simply turn up on either of the following dates:
Wednesday 1st June: 10am – 2pm outside Genesis Youth Centre in Locks Heath. Theme: Arts, crafts and music.
Executive member for Leisure and Community, Sue Bell said: "I'm delighted the Play Rangers are back for Summer half term. It's a great opportunity for children to enjoy free outdoor activities, in a supervised environment, during school holidays."
Y Services will be on hand to organise activities, but parents are responsible for their children at all times and children under 8 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Play Rangers recommend checking their Facebook page (YPlaYrangers) for updates or e-mailing email@example.com for further details.
You can view the Play Rangers timetable online at www.fareham.gov.uk/playrangers.
