There will be a Special Portchester Community Action Team (CAT) Meeting on Friday 5 October at Cams Hill School, Shearwater Avenue, Portchester. The meeting will run from 7.00pm until 8.30pm.
Chairman of the Portchester Community Action Team, Councillor Nick Walker, said: "At this meeting the Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Councillor Seán Woodward will be giving a presentation and answering questions about Portchester's new £2 million Community Centre, which is scheduled for completion in November, including the sequence of events leading to its planning, design and operation."
The new Community Centre is an 830sq metre development that will offer residents of Portchester a new children's centre, provision for a pre-school, a large multi-purpose hall, meeting rooms and a kitchen. Portchester Community School has been invited to take over the running of the new Community Centre.
