On Thursday 2 June 2022, it is anticipated that more than 1,500 beacons will be lit across the UK at 9.45pm and Fareham is set to light its own beacon from Portchester Castle. More information about The Queen's Jubilee Beacons can be viewed here External Hyperlink.

We are working with English Heritage to provide this free event at Portchester Castle, kindly sponsored by Everyone Active External Hyperlink. There will be live music, food and drink concessions, stall holders and free children's activities so that the whole community can come together and pay tribute to The Queen at this momentous time.

Walking and cycling is encouraged where possible. Free parking is available at Portchester Precinct. Parking for Blue Badge holders only will be available at the Castle.
