Following the recent consultation exercise that was carried out to identify if local residents support the idea of reinstating items of play equipment on Oriel Drive open space, officers have now collated and analysed all the responses received and have discussed them with the ward councillors. The results have concluded that the majority of residents do not want items of play equipment reinstated on Oriel Drive open space.
Whilst some residents may be disappointed with this result, Council Officers are in the process of identifying how other play areas within the local area could be better improved. Further consultation activities will take place in due course to ensure we continue to meet the needs of local residents.
For more information or should you wish to discuss the consultation results further please contact Emma Watts, Leisure Projects Officer on 01329 236100 or email ewatts@fareham.gov.uk.
