Thousands of people came along to Fareham town centre to join in the festivities at the annual Victorian Christmas lights switch on.
There were lots of activities including meeting the reindeer, free face painting, fun fair rides, craft activities, market stalls, food and drink, street performers and an appearance from Santa!
Local groups, South Downe Musical Society, Fareham Borough Council choir, Igloo Music, Spinnaker Brass and the Spinnaker Chorus took to the stage to perform to the audience during the day. Bodyrox Productions, a local dance group, entertained the largest ever crowd at the event before the Mayor of Fareham, Cllr Pamela Bryant, pushed the plunger to light up the town as crowds cheered.
The grand finale was a performance of dance and song from the Greatest Showman with revellers singing along to numbers from the hit movie.
