D-Day 75 at Daedalus

Saturday 8 June, 10am-5pm, andD-Day 75 Activities
Sunday 9 June, 10am-4pm

Plans are well underway for a weekend to remember with music, fun activities, and planes to commemorate 75 years since the D-Day landings.

HMS Daedalus was the busiest allied airfield in the UK on D-Day with more than 400 missions flown over Normandy so it will be a very special place from which to commemorate this important event.

Aircraft will be a key feature with both static and flying aircraft to enjoy.  Visitors can look forward to children's activities, fun fair rides, stage and arena performances, food stalls, gift and community stalls, vintage cars and more!  A commemorative plaque to mark this significant occasion will be unveiled and displayed throughout the weekend.

We are very excited to announce some high-flying headline acts for the weekend including The Great War Display Team, the Round Canopy Display Team and The World's only wing walker display team, the AeroSuperBatics!

Keep an eye on social media for further announcements.
