The Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen took place on Saturday 6 May 2023, followed by The Big Lunch on Sunday and The Big Help Out on bank holiday Monday.
Many communities came together to celebrate the momentous occasion over the long weekend with street parties, celebrations in gardens and picnics in parks with family and friends. People also offered their time for free by volunteering as part of The Big Help Out. If you are still interested in voluntering, you can find local opportunities on the Community First website.
You can also check out official photgraphs on the Coronation website from the weekend.
The Council has a proud record of producing mugs for every Coronation and many residents expressed an interest in having a commemorative keepsake to mark this occasion.
The Council therefore offered Fareham residents the opportunity to purchase a special commemorative mug for just £3.66.
There are a limited amount of mugs still available to purchase from reception at the Civic Offices.
Please read the FAQs carefully before coming to collect your mug.
