Consistent with people across the UK, Fareham residents have provided a fantastic response to the Ukraine Appeal and everything donated so far has been taken to the Jacob's Well charity.
Due to the unprecedented levels of donations, charities are now struggling to find space for storage, and asking, where possible, for financial donations to be made instead.
As a result we will no longer be accepting donations at the Civic Offices.
We will work with local charities and update this page with any new information received.
A national donation point has been set up and the British Government is pledging to match public donations pound-for-pound up to £25 million.
Many charities have launched their own appeals, so you may prefer to donate through them instead. The Government has issued some guidelines to ensure your money is safe, and these can be found on the government's website .
If you have purchased food with the intention of donating it to the Ukraine Appeal, you may wish to donate to one of the local food banks instead.
