Vote for your favourite community projects

In September, the council invited local groups and organisations who have great project ideas for their neighbourhood to apply for funding of up to £2,000.

What is a Youth and Community Roots Grant?

'Youth and community roots' seeks to support community projects with some 'grass root' funding.  The purpose of this funding is to enable voluntary and community organisations or local groups to strengthen their community.

Who applied?

19 applicants were successful but unfortunately not all of them will receive funding as there is an overall budget of just £20,000 from Hampshire County Council.

We asked residents to vote for their 5 most favourite projects to help us decide who will receive funding.

Watch the video on this page to find out about each project.
