The buildings in the area vary in age, design and size, but they are not usually over three storeys high. Some fall within a Conservation Area.

The Lysses car park is not well used. It is located away from the main town centre and has poor pedestrian access and lighting at night.

Georgian Quarter in the future

We would like to encourage some redevelopment in keeping with the character of the Conservation Area.
