A six-week consultation on the Draft Welborne Plan was undertaken by Fareham Borough Council between 29 April and 10 June 2013, as required by Regulation 18 of The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012.
A wide range of local residents, community groups, statutory bodies - public organisations and local businesses and societies, were invited to make a representation on the content and policies in the Draft Welborne Plan. Here is a full list of the organisations and individuals (158 KB) that were consulted.
To help support the consultation on the Draft Plan, exhibitions were held in the local communities surrounding Welborne. These events provided an opportunity for the public to come and view information on the Draft Welborne Plan and ask questions to the Welborne Planning officers, before submitting a written representation. A total of almost 500 people attended the five exhibitions in Fareham (twice), Funtley, Knowle and Wickham.
In terms of written representations, a total of 224 different responses were received from a range of public and private organisations, businesses, landowners and private individuals. These representations have been thoroughly reviewed and summarised into the following three documents:
Summary of Representations by Major and Minor Landowners, Specific Consultation Bodies and Other Key Organisations (114 KB)
Summary of Representations by Residents, Private Individuals and Community Groups (124 KB)
Detailed Summary of Representations (456 KB)
The consultation responses which were submitted on the Draft Welborne Plan, together with additional and on-going evidence gathering work were used to inform and where appropriate, revise the next version of the Welborne Plan, the Publication Draft Plan.
If you have any queries about the consultation summary documents then please call 01329 236100 and ask for the Welborne Planning team or email planningpolicy@fareham.gov.uk
