Fareham's Community Centres

The majority of community buildings are owned by Fareham Borough Council but are leased to independent Community Associations who respond to the needs of the community. To make a booking or a general enquiry, please contact the centre directly using the contact details below. All buildings are non-smoking and are fully accessible unless otherwise stated.

Facilities include main hall approx 5m x 14m with large windows (fitted with blinds).  There is a fully fitted kitchen, plus wheelchair accessible toilet.

The charge is £10 per hour with a reduced rate of £5 per hour for community groups and charities.

Activities include:

Tuesdays:  coffee mornings, knitting & sewing circle

Thursdays:  wii gym, craft activities, internet cafe, youth space

Walking groups for parents, carers and young children.

Facilities include rooms for hire, the Large Hall with kitchen facilities, the Small Hall and a Committee Room.

Recently refurbished, excellent kitchen, lots of car parking space, patio to rear of building great for hog roasts, access to children's playground and tennis courts.  Ideal for children's parties, weddings, club meetings etc.

Activities include Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Playgroup, Music Lessons, Tae Kwando, Kung Fu, Kick Exercise & French Lessons.

Catisfield Memorial Hall

Location:  22 Catisfield Lane (just off the A27 and Highlands Road), PO15 5NN

A friendly but secluded facility right in the heart of the community that is ideal for events, parties, meetings and other activities.

Facilities:

  • Main Hall seats up to 100 theatre style or up to 70 when using tables.
  • Separate meeting room.
  • Fully re-furbished kitchen.
  • Re-developed toilets.
  • Fully accessible with level floors, wide doors, accessible toilet, high contrast décor, hearing loop (on request).
  • Off-street parking.
  • Large grassed area.

 

Very reasonable hire charges:

  • Main Hall - £10 per hour (£8 per hour for regular users reduced to £7 per hour for those booking over 80 hours per calendar year).
  • Meeting Room - £5 per hour.

Facilities include small meeting rooms, a kitchen, Sports Hall and a Theatre/Hall. Room hire starts at £6.40 per hour rising to £34.70 depending on size and facilities. Discounts are available for CCA members.

Membership rates as from 01.09.11 are £12 adult, £8.50 youths, £10 senior citizens, £32 family.
