Clip & Collect Garden Waste Subscription Service
Our Clip & Collect service offers a simple and convenient way to have your garden waste collected from your home.
For an annual subscription fee, plus the one-off cost of a Fareham Borough Council garden waste bin, we'll collect your garden waste every 2 weeks, with up to 25 collections each year.

Current Fees and Charges (2025-2026)

£44 for a new 240 litre brown-lidded garden waste bin (one-off charge).

£73 annual subscription fee (this is £62 for residents that initially purchased a 140 litre garden waste bin when the service was launched).
How to Subscribe
Subscribing is easy. You can sign up (or renew):
- Online using the Garden Waste Portal.
- By calling 01329 236100
and ask one of our officers to sign you up over the phone. - By emailing clipandcollect@fareham.gov.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Your subscription will start immediately once payment has been received, however collections cannot begin until your bin has been delivered.
Please note that during the spring and summer months, demand for the Clip & Collect service increases significantly as more residents subscribe. Due to this seasonal demand, delivery of new garden waste bins can currently take up to four weeks. Unfortunately, there is no reduction in subscription charges whilst waiting for a bin to be delivered.
