Fareham Youth Council is a group led by young people, for young people. It seeks to represent views of young people and discuss projects and issues concerning them. Not only does it help your local community, it also looks great on your CV for college, uni and future jobs.
Take a look at our latest newsletter (280 KB) to see what we've been up to.
We recently held our Annual General Meeting and this year, there was a a twist. We invited Youth Champion, Councilor Trevor Cartright, along to ask him questions on local issues that affect young people. Other local councillors came along, as well as youth representatives from Y Services and local schools. Have a read of the notes taken at the meeting (83 KB) to see what we asked Councillor Cartwright.
Come along to our meetings and help make changes to the things that matter to you!
We hold meetings every first and third Wednesday of each month from 4pm - 5.45pm at the Civic Offices in Fareham.
