Y CAT Meetings

We want to make sure that the voices of young people are heard.  If you are between 11 and 17 years of age, Y CAT meetings are your opportunity to talk with the Executive Leader of the Council about issues that matter to you.  We hold two Y CATs per year and any young person is welcome to come and share their views or ideas and ask questions.

The last Y CAT meeting was held on Thursday 10th November. Read all about what was dicussed at the Y CAT meeting PDF (29 KB) on 10th November. Answers to more of your questions will be coming soon!

If you would like to know more about Y CATS, please contact the Leisure and Community Team on 01329 824495 or email leisure@fareham.gov.uk.

SNAP

SNAP events are safe but fun discos for young people aged between 11 and 16.  They are held at Ferneham Hall three times per year and, as well as the House DJ, include exciting acts, displays and activities.  To find out the date of the next SNAP, find out what the theme is and how to book your tickets, visit the SNAP website External Hyperlink.

There are many youth clubs in Fareham, covering every area of the Borough. View the full list of Youth Services and Clubs in Fareham PDF (69 KB) to find out which one is nearest to you and get details of who to contact about joining.
