Fareham retains Green Flag awards

The Sensory Garden in Fareham town centre and Holly Hill Woodland Park have both retained the prestigious Green Flag Award for the 6th and 7th consecutive years respectively.

The Green Flag award is a national accolade that shows visitors that the park is well maintained and well managed, with excellent facilities. It is a high quality green space in the Borough of Fareham.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Councillor Connie Hockley, said: "I would like to thank everyone involved for their hard work to ensure we retain these awards in order to provide residents green spaces to enjoy in the Borough."

All award-winning sites from the Green Flag Award scheme can be found at http://greenflag.keepbritaintidy.org/ External Hyperlink.
