Press Release

31st July 2015

On Course to improve play area

Fareham Borough Council is asking for people to comment on proposals to improve Course Park Crescent Play Area in a consultation running until Friday 21 August.

Whilst the play area is popular with local residents it doesn't provide a mix of equipment suitable for different ages and abilities.

We are asking residents including children to tell us what extra pieces of equipment they think would improve the play area. Questionnaires are being sent to local residents and you can also take part in the survey online by visiting www.fareham.gov.uk/consultations

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Councillor Susan Bell said "It is so important that residents including the younger community get involved to help ensure the new play equipment will meet the needs of the children, young people and families that use the play area."

The deadline for responses is Friday 21 August 2015.

Works to the play area are due to be completed by spring 2016.
