Come along for a lovely late summer walk on Saturday 12th September at Warsash Common and learn about some of Britain's oldest trees and their links with the past.
Running from 10:00 – 12:30 you can learn traditional countryside folklore, including the ancient use of trees and children will have the opportunity to make woodland crafts and take them home. This family event is suitable for all for ages and tickets cost £5 from Ferneham Hall. It is recommended that sensible shoes and clothing are worn.
Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Cllr Sue Bell says: "This is a wonderful opportunity for families to get together; I encourage everyone to participate and get in touch with nature."
