Press Release

28 June 2016

It's time to play on National Play Day!

A free play event for under 11s takes place on Wednesday 3rd August, as part of National Play Day.

The event at Holly Hill Woodland Park is one of hundreds of community events happening across the UK, celebrating children's right to play.

The event details are as follows:

Councillor Sue Bell, Executive Member for Leisure and Community at Fareham Borough Council, said: "I'm delighted that we are hosting our own event and taking part in this national campaign highlighting the importance of play in children's lives. There'll be activities on offer to suit a range of interests, so mums and dads can enjoy the scenic setting of Holly Hill while their little ones get stuck into the games!"
