A Community Action Team (CAT) meeting will take place on Monday 17 October from 7pm - 8:30pm at Wicor Primary School to discuss the appeal made against the refused planning application at Cranleigh Road.
In March this year, Fareham Borough Council refused planning permission for a planning application to build 120 houses at Cranleigh Road, alongside Wicor Primary School. The developer, Persimmon Homes South Coast, has now appealed against Fareham Borough Council's decision. The appeal will be heard by an independent Planning Inspector at a Public Local Inquiry next year.
At the CAT meeting it will be explained why the planning application was refused by Fareham Borough Council, how the planning appeal process works and how all interested parties can be involved in the planning appeal process.
Chairman of the CAT meeting Councillor Sue Bell, said: "If you would like to find out more about how planning appeals are considered, what happens at a Public Local Inquiry, and how you can ensure that you are fully involved in the process, please come along to the meeting."
