Ferneham Hall will play host to this year's Fareham Youth Conference on Wednesday 9 March. Over 150 young people aged 12 - 20 years old and key decision makers have been invited from youth groups, schools, colleges and organisations across the borough to attend the event, organised by Fareham's Youth Council, Fareham Borough Council and Hampshire County Council Children's Services (Youth Team) on behalf of The Local Children's Partnership (LCP).
The aim of the conference is to:-
Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Councillor Se�n Woodward will be attending along with The Mayor of Fareham, Councillor Brian Bayford.
The Youth Champion for Fareham Borough Council, Councillor Leslie Keeble said, "The event will give young people in the borough an opportunity to express their views and opinions through discussion, as well as to have fun."
Deputy Leader and Executive Member for Children's Services for Hampshire County Council, Cllr Perry said "Hampshire County Council is always keen to support such events and to hear the views of young people. Our staff will be ensuring that young people are able to participate and express their views in this important forum."
