Fareham Poppy Appeal

The Mayor of Fareham, Councillor Trevor Cartwright MBE and Mayoress Mrs Ruth Cartwright, will be launching the Borough's Poppy Appeal at the stall outside Boots in Fareham Shopping Centre on Monday 31 October at 11am.

The Mayor of Fareham, Councillor Trevor Cartwright MBE, said: "The National Poppy Appeal raises vital money for ex-Service People and their dependants. I hope that everyone in Fareham will join us in supporting this year's Poppy appeal by making a donation and wearing a poppy."

The Poppy Appeal is still as important as ever, serving to remind people that the help provided by the Royal British Legion extends to the young as well as the old.
