The next Fareham Town Community Action Team meeting will take place on Monday 27 February in the Octagon Lounge at Ferneham Hall. The meeting will run from 7.00pm-8.30pm.
Chairman of the Fareham Town CAT Meeting, Councillor John Bryant said:" CAT meetings are an excellent place for residents to talk about issues in their local area. They can also discuss ideas for improving their community, including ones which could be supported through the Council's Community Fund."
At the meeting, residents will get an update from the local police, and hear about recent successful Community Fund bids. Hampshire County Council and SSE will give a presentation on the Street Light Improvement Programme and Hampshire PCT will talk about Vascular Services. Residents will also hear about the Community Engagement Plan linked to the New Community North of Fareham and have their say on the proposed improvements to the Park Lane Recreation Ground. At the end of the meeting there will be an opportunity for residents to ask the Chairman and local Councillors any questions they may have.
