Hollybrook Gardens Play Area Opening

Fareham Borough Council and the Fareham Play Rangers will be opening the new children's play area at Hollybrook Gardens, Locks Heath on Thursday 12 April from 10:00 -12:00 noon.

Following two consultation sessions that were held last Summer, children, young people and local residents were given the opportunity to comment and make suggestions on how the play area could be improved and to choose preferred items of play equipment.

The new children's play area will consist of a bobbin swing, a cobra see-saw, a wide slide, giant climbing sticks, cobble maze, mizzenmast climbing frame, picnic tables and benches.

This special play ranger session will be taking place on the open space next to the play area, where children and young people will have the opportunity to play with a range of fully inclusive play and sporting items of equipment as well as get creative with art and craft materials. All activities are free of charge and cakes and refreshments will be made available to everyone attending to help celebrate the opening of the new children's play area.
