07:30 - Monday 19 March
All general waste and recycling vehicles have gone out this morning. It is planned that bins from properties on main roads will be collected first, then estate and side roads later to allow the snow time to thaw.
If any roads are not accessible for the Council’s vehicles, revised collection details will be posted on this website later today.
Fareham Borough Council formally approved (106 KB) the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Charging Schedule on 25 April 2013 to start from 1 May 2013. Development permitted from 1 May 2013 will be liable to pay the Levy as per the charges set out in the schedule below. Charges will be payable when development starts.
We have also published a Community Infrastructure Levy Regulation 123 List, which is set out below. This sets out what projects or types of infrastructure may be funded through the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL). In order to prevent double charging, anything on this list cannot be funded through Planning obligations. Payment may be made by instalments in the circumstances as set out in the instalments policy below.
When you make a planning application, you will have to submit additional information to us to allow us to calculate your CIL liability and any discounts correctly. Please do this using the additional information form available from the Planning Portal
This Regulation 123 list is valid from 1 March 2018.
Regulation 123 of the Community Infrastructure Regulations 2010 (as amended) restricts the use of planning obligations for infrastructure that will be funded in whole or in part by the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL). Infrastructure types or projects that are listed below will not be secured through planning obligations. This is to ensure there is no duplication between CIL and planning obligations secured through s106 agreements in funding the same infrastructure projects.
The list below sets out those infrastructure types and projects that Fareham Borough Council currently intends will be, or may be, wholly or partly funded by CIL. The inclusion of projects in this list does not signify a commitment from the Council to fund all the projects listed, or the entirety of any one project through CIL. The order in the table does not imply any order of preference for spend.
The Council will review this list at least once a year, as part of its monitoring of CIL collection and spend.
