My Property Information provides interactive maps for the Borough of Fareham. The main aim of these web pages is to provide citizens, visitors and businesses with easily accessible, up to date information about their address.
The pages use both maps and text to display geographical type data in a series of layers in a meaningful and friendly way. It can be used in many different ways; from simply viewing different maps and finding an address. Map layers can show the location of Tree Preservation Orders (TPO), Conservation Areas and Planning Applications amongst other things. To use My Property Information type in your address in the Address Search field to see the information available for that property, or zoom into the map and click to set your location. Before you can view the map you will be asked to read and agree to the terms and conditions. If you decline the terms and conditions you will not be able to use the interactive maps. By entering the My Property Information site you will agree to be bound by the terms and conditions and the copyright agreements.
A quick guide is given below:
Once in in My Property Information use the Address Search or click onto the map to set your location.
To view a different area, click on the Pan arrows or left click and hold on the map and drag the current map to put the area you would like to see in the viewing pane. The map will take a few seconds to reload.
To zoom click on either the Zoom In or the Zoom Out button and then click on the area of the map you would like zoomed, or click on the map and use the roller-ball on your mouse to zoom in and out. The map will take a few seconds to reload.
To find out what is going on at or around your location, use the legend on the map, or layer list situated at the bottom of the map. A series of searches have been set up. Click on each search to reveal information about your address/location. Use the results to navigate to further information if the search result appears as a link.
Map layers can be switched on and off using the layer list situated at the bottom of the map. Select the layers you wish to display by checking the tick boxes on and off. This reloads the map with the appropriate information overlayed. To see further information about a feature on the map, simply left-click on it and a pop-up box will appear.
