Lighting and Digital Media Requests
The Council welcomes proposals from residents who wish to see a cause or campaign recognised through lighting or digital media. While we maintain an annual calendar, we also consider additional requests at our absolute discretion.
Eligible Requests Must Fall into One of These Categories:
- To raise awareness of the charities nominated by the Mayor of Fareham
- To mark events directly organised or financially supported by Fareham Borough Council
- For charitable, community or non-profit organisations based in or strongly connected to the Borough, celebrating a significant anniversary or occasion
- To support causes or campaigns of national significance
Please note:
The Council will not support requests that are political, for-profit, or contrary to our corporate priorities, vision, or values. We also reserve the right to decline any request that may be perceived as detrimental to the Borough.
To allow time for technical preparations and consideration, all requests must be submitted at least 4 weeks in advance. Requests received after this period will only be considered in exceptional circumstances. We will not be able to accept requests if another campaign has already been scheduled.
