Business Energy Bills Capped This Winter

The Government has confirmed that the Energy Bill Relief Scheme will mean energy bills for businesses will be around half their expected level this winter. The support package takes effect from 1st October and is currently due to remain in place for six months, with a review due to take place after three months. All non-domestic energy customers will benefit including hospitals, schools, community halls and churches, with energy suppliers automatically applying a capped, fixed rate. If any further support is made available to assist businesses with energy costs, another special edition newsletter will be circulated.
