The council's net budget for 2020/21 is £9,606,500 an increase of £940,100 or 10.84% compared to 2019/20.

How the Council Tax for Fareham Borough Council compares to other District Councils

Fareham's Council Tax at £160.22 was one of the lowest in the country in 2019/20 and at £165.22 for 2020/21, still remains one of the lowest rates.

The total Council Tax payable at Band D (including the portions for Hampshire County Council, Hampshire Fire and Rescue and Police & Crime Commissioner) is £1,732.02 in 2020/21.
