When will you pay me?

We have 36,000 payments to make, so we cannot guarantee when individual payments will be received.  The Government has said we must make all payments by 30 September 2022, but we would hope to get all payments made by 31/07/2022.

What support will people get living in Band E to H properties?

Councils can determine locally how best to make use of the discretionary funding to provide payments to other households who are energy bill payers but not covered by the Council Tax Rebate. This could include households living in property valued in bands E to H that are on income related benefits or those where the energy bill payers are not liable for council tax.  We will need to develop a policy and decide the groups of households we can support.

What do I do if I haven't heard from you by the end of July?
